The GUIDE Program

GUIDE stands for "Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience." It's a voluntary Medicare program launched by "Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)" in 2023 to improve quality of life for people with dementia and their family caregivers.

This comprehensive program provides care coordination, caregiver education, and financial assistance for respite services. tendercare is proud to be an approved GUIDE partner, working with participating providers to help families understand the program, get enrolled, and access all available benefits, so you don’t have to figure it alone.

What can I use the $2,500 respite funding for?

Respite funds can be used for short-term in-home care, adult day programs, or temporary stays in licensed facilities so caregivers can rest, travel, or handle other responsibilities.
