Robin came to care management through something deeply personal. For a decade, she helped manage her mother's care through Alzheimer's disease — navigating the decisions, the logistics, and the long emotional weight that comes with a decline that doesn't end quickly. That experience didn't just inform her work; it shapes how she shows up for every family she serves.
Before founding Staver Care Management, Robin built a career working with some of the most complex cases in the field — adults with hearing impairments, deaf-blindness, and co-occurring developmental and psychiatric disabilities, at organizations including the Helen Keller National Center. That background gives her a clinical range most aging-focused care managers don't have. She doesn't just address immediate needs — she sees the whole person and what the whole situation requires.
What families consistently describe is that Robin stays. Not for a single transition, but for years, through strokes, dementia diagnoses, changing care needs, Medicaid applications, and end-of-life decisions. She's known for being reachable, for knowing who to call, and for making conversations that feel impossible feel navigable.
